Just got around to listening to Peter Mendelsund’s interview on Design Matters. He talks about his career shift from playing the piano to designing book covers, and the journey that got him to the point where he can now design covers like The Idiot by Dostoevsky, as well as a series of Kafka covers, which I blogged about here.
Cool to hear the backstory of the designers you find, and like, online.
